Fr. Anthoni Jeorge, MI
Fr. Anthoni Jeorge, M.I., is a service-focused professional psycho-social worker and a member of the Religious Order of the Ministers of Infirm. Previously he worked as the Director of Care and Support Centre for people living with HIV in India. He has extensive experience in the realm of care, support, and management of care homes for HIV infected and terminally ill patients. He has a sturdy commitment and work experience in rehabilitation and vocational training program for orphan and vulnerable children and mentoring skill in the capacity building program for college students and the health care employees. International and national voluntary service, pastoral exposure stands as the highlight of the profile. He is backed by the lived-in personal experience of caring for dying destitute with Mother Theresa of Calcutta, Community fellowships, voluntary service to people infected and affected with Ebola Virus in West Africa (Sierra Leone). Furthermore, award from State Government of Karnatake, India for child welfare activities and certificate of appreciation for voluntary service are some of the highlighted recognition of the service.
