Project Description

Jacob Niemeier, Jeff Hanson, Samantha Panella, and Casey Ren

Jacob Niemeier is a native Hoosier, a proud Purdue University Boilermaker graduate, the founder of Vera Aqua Vera Vita, and a blessed husband to his wife Fernanda. They just got married last September and they are expecting their first child, a boy, in June! He moved to Dallas after graduating with his Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture & Biological Engineering from Purdue University. While at Purdue, Jacob recognized the needs and suffering of people in developing countries when he took mission trips to both Haiti and Africa which he credits as his inspiration for starting Vera Aqua Vera Vita.

Jacob is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) with nearly 8 years of design experience in both public and private projects focused on water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance, distribution infrastructure design, and water & wastewater system modeling. He, also, currently serves as a YP Co-Chair for the North Central Texas Chapter of the American Water Works Association.

While at Purdue and since moving to Dallas, Jacob has taken courses in entrepreneurship which led him to officially found Vera Aqua Vera Vita in June of 2017, and since that time he has taken the necessary steps to launch the organization, advance its mission, and grow its foundations.

Personally, in his free time, which is relatively limited these days, Jacob likes to spend time with his wife and growing family and keep up with superhero TV shows and movies, fish, hunt, hike, camp, play basketball, play board games, and basically play any type of sport or compete in just about anything.
