Donald R. Kudek, Ph.D.; MBA is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration and the Department Chair for the School of Business at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Kudek earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, Virginia Beach, VA; his MBA from Bradley University, Peoria, IL; and his BA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. Prior to WLC, Dr. Kudek spent 25 years at various businesses in marketing, international business, and corporate finance.Given his diverse background, Dr. Kudek teaches courses in various business areas at both the graduate and undergraduate level, including Organizational Behavior, Team Dynamics and Business Ethics. In his role as Chair, he is responsible for the development, execution, and staffing of the Business, Accounting, and Sports Management majors at WLC.In addition to his teaching, Dr. Kudek is has conducted various research studies looking to gain a greater understanding of both leaders and followers.  He has presented his research findings at the International Leadership Association conferences in Brussels, Belgium; Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and in the US.  In addition to the ILA, he presented this past year at the First Global Followership Conference in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. His work on student teams was published in the International Journal of Teaching and Education. He regularly speaks to both graduate and undergraduate students on the topic, and has shared his work with non-profit groups as well. In addition to the research, Dr. Kudek has worked with various organizations helping understand the impact of various challenges senior leaders face.  In the past he has presented to senior leadership on the visibility and impact servant-leadership principles were having within the manufacturing facilities, a large retailer on the impact of spirituality in the workplace, and a large tech company on the communication struggles between leadership and operations.
