Ian MacFarlane is President and CEO of EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC, a U.S. mid-sized environmental consulting services firm serving a wide range of clients in both government and private sectors, with 25 offices nationwide, 550 employees, and revenues of about $150M. Under his leadership, EA, once a public company, converted ownership to a 100% ESOP and adoption as a legal benefit corporation. As a stakeholder-oriented firm, EA has embraced many behavioral initiatives, including servant-leadership. Ian has a bachelor’s degree in geology from Denison University and a master’s degree in management of technology from University of Pennsylvania.
G. James Lemoine, PhD. is an Assistant Professor of Organizations and Human Resources for the State University at Buffalo (SUNY), and a Trustee of the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership. He has won several awards for his research on leadership, ethics, and motivation, which has been published in top outlets ranging from the academic Journal of Applied Psychology to the likes of Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, Forbes, and Entrepreneur. Prior to his return to academia, Jim spent 12 years in business, consulting, and entrepreneurship, working for organizations such as AT&T. He earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and his BS in Agricultural Economics from Louisiana State University.
Clayton Cutrer has been intrigued by and studied leadership & management for over 20 years. He was introduced to servant-leadership over 3 years ago, and has been hooked since. Clayton has completed 2 of the 3 courses on servant-leadership thru the Greenleaf Center, and will complete the third course this year. He has created and presented introductory workshops on servant-leadership to several organization including Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Southeastern Louisiana University, Future Farmers of America, and Masco. No matter where works, his passion for learning and serving leaves an impression on those who work with him.
